Visiting Louisville for the Kentucky Derby this weekend? You might be surprised to find out that Churchill Downs isn’t all Derby City has to offer.. There’s also the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory if you’re in a sporty mood. Or how about the Thomas Edison House for a little dip into history? And you can’t forget Kentucky Kingdom, a 63-acre amusement park filled with rides and thrills for all… there’s even a water park!
But the real story here is the food scene. I’m telling you what…. Louisville has some big hitters in the culinary world. Here’s just a tiny taste of what you can find while in town:

Old school fine dining that feels straight out of the 1930’s – because it is! Jack Fry’s storied past includes a little bit of bootlegging out of ‘the back room’ back in prohibition times. These days the cocktails are all legal though, and stunning! As is the food. Stop for the history, stay for the ambiance!
